For this first milestone, you will identify the public health issue you have chosen to research for your policy or program evaluation. In a brief but formal summary of purpose, you will outline the purpose and significance of the public health issue and identify the overall goals of the policy or program. In addition, you will produce a needs and capacity assessment identifying resources and assets the community already has, additional resources that would be needed, and a justification of need for this policy or program using data-based academic resources.
