This module allows the student to investigate and teach an audience about the different advanced nursing practice positions at the BSN level or higher. Part of being a professional is having the ability to communicate in a professional manner in both written and verbal formats. This module’s assignment is a professional presentation. All professional presentations need references, so it is important that scholarly resources are utilized as references (books, peer-reviewed journals, government websites, .edu websites, and professional organizations).
Some general comments related to presentations:
All information that is not general knowledge needs a reference on the slide. References go at the bottom of the page, like the example.
Slides should have keywords that the speaker expands on.
No more than 3–4 lines on slides.
No reading off notes (points will be deducted).
Dress professionally.
Know the content.

Ensure your references are from scholarly resources.

Each student will be evaluated themselves in the Self-Evaluation form.
The presentation should:
Increase audience awareness, understanding, and knowledge of the topic.
Contain pertinent examples, facts, and/or statistics to support your point of view.
Contain current and up-to-date information.
Credit all sources and graphics in APA format where appropriate within the slides and in a Reference list at the end.
