this is the patient history here is it completely: You are a nurse in
a medical-surgical unit in a hospital
caring for a 27-year-old professional
football player who
underwent surgery to repair a
compound fracture of his right femur.
The surgery went smoothly and you are
responsible for his postoperative care
after he returns from PACU. He is very
busy with his cell phone and doesn’t
feel
the need to use his incentive spirometer
while he is not very mobile. VSS.
Allergic to strawberries. Pain reported
as
6/10 and patient thinks oral medication
causes nausea.
