This is an editiing of the paper on project management that needs to be updated with the references (not more than 5 years old) and the project will last for 3 months (August 30th -Nov 29th) gor the Gnatt grid I included the rubric that they will be strictly using.
Evidence-Based Practice Project Tool/Timeline:
Design an evaluation form/method to evaluate the evidence-based change project implementation and the effectiveness of the implementation of the project. The project implementation and effectiveness tool must provide complete information on how the project will be measured to assess project implementation effectiveness including details to success, barriers and how these were addressed. Be detailed in your explanation of the tool, your goals of accomplishment and how the tool will be utilized.
The timeline that is to be included within this tool and should begin with the dates of initial research into the evidenced based change project for this course. To further assist the student with the design of this tool, the student should consider that the tool will be utilized as an outline for conducting the evidence-based change project. Timeline should start with date of IRB application/obtaining IRB approval and move forward through steps of implementation and evaluation of project. IRB approval must be obtained through Gannon University first and then through the institution the evidence-based practice project will be implemented. Not all institutions have an IRB process. Instead, they may have a quality assurance panel, or the project may need to be approved by a director of nursing, a nurse manager or administration body. Each institution will be different. As the doctoral candidate, it is your responsibility to be knowledgeable and follow all institutional policy/procedure.
Over the next several weeks of this course a collaborative team will have been identified and become an important influence in the implementation of your evidence-based practice project. Identifying interprofessional team members/interprofessional collaborative team should be mentioned in timeline and a meeting you plan to have. All official meetings with interprofessional team members can ONLY occur after IRB approval has been obtained through Gannon and institutional sites. It is ok to have discussions with collaborating team members, but it cannot be documented on the weekly log until IRB approvals have been reached. Formal meeting should be clearly documented in your timeline but also on your time log (they count towards the 224 hours). Time documented with collaborative team members other than a mentor will not be accepted as credited log hours until after IRB(s) status has been obtained.
It is important to note that each studentâs tool will vary according to the studentâs evidenceâbased change project. There are many tools to evaluate the implementation of an evidence-based change project. The student should carefully consider the effectiveness and application of any student designed tool for the chosen evidence-based change project. The tool must include a specific timeline for completion and evaluation. The remainder of the timeline must identify specific dates that indicate the studentâs plan for progression with the implementation of the evidence-based change project. These dates should directly relate to scheduled meetings with interprofessional team/interprofessional collaborative team, essential staff, mentor, etc. as related to the project. The evidence-based practice project evaluation tool is worth 60 points for a total of 20% of the grade. Dr. Riddle and I have attached the grading rubric for this assignment. See Grading Rubric for Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Project Implementation Tool/Timeline.
