This is a brief explaining to the assessment, I have attached the assessment details that will be helpful.
This assessment is to create a graphical abstract. I have attached the assignment details and the is a similar prepared graphical abstract attached that you can look at.
With the main assessment, you’ll need to summarise the result of ONE of the 5 studies listed below
1. Microbiology
2. Genetics
3. Cancer
4. Molecular Biology
5. Cardiovascular Science.
Your graphical abstract should comprise a single image, based on a collage of images and cartoons you either collect from the web or draw yourself. It must summarise the key findings of the study in a way that is easily understood visually. It should be simple, cohesive and visually appealing.
Also a (150 word Max)lay person abstract must be provided. This must be written in simple language that would be easily understood by a member of the public without a scientific background or any training in science. The style of language here should be clear, simple and concise.
Marks will be awarded for the quality of the image, the clarity of the message presented, and how accurately it summarises the key findings of the study in question.
You must choose to prepare your abstract from ONE of the following list of 5 articles. Each article represents a recent step forward in one of the major areas of research interest at ARU.
