This assignment is making a Concept map for the disease and patho of HIV and answering the 2 questions with 1-2 paragraphs each in APA. There must be 3 references used, 1 being the text book (will upload a pic of textbook). The concept map instructions, grading rubic and examples will also be uploaded below.
You can make the Concept Map in Word or PowerPoint with diagramming or use of shapes. You can also use a tool that is specific for Concept Maps- e.g. Scribble; Google Drawings; Spicynodes. You will want to draw links between related concepts (see examples posted).
For the first concept map assignment, you have the following parts:
1) Develop a concept map for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).
2) Provide answers to the following questions with 1-2 paragraphs. Include references for these answers and one of these may be your textbook.
a. What is the difference between vertical and horizontal transmission of infection?
b. Are vaccinations always effective in prevention of disease?
