Students will develop a 2-3 page reflection paper, written in APA 7 format, that addresses their evolving theoretical foundation and integrated clinical practice. 5 pts.
Required components include the following:
A clear statement of the student’s current guiding counseling theory, including an integrative approach if applicable (2 pts.).
Explanation of why you have chosen this as your guiding theory or integration and a meaningful description of how it evolved/changed this semester (1 pt.).
A summary of the population for whom this approach might be well-suited (consider age, culture/identity, presenting concerns, motivation, etc.) (1 pt.).
A description of the next steps you will take to continue to grow in your knowledge and application of counseling theory and empirically supported practices (1 pt.).
