Students will be given a topic by the instructor, develop five interview questions associated with that topic, and interview a family member or friend who has experienced the US healthcare system first-hand as a patient or support individual. Students will then submit a written transcript of the interview and develop a 3-4 page paper describing the interviewee’s overall attitude toward the US healthcare system and the student’s response. 1) a written transcript of the interview you completed that shows all five questions you developed and the interviewee’s responses. 2) a 3-4 page reflection paper describing the interviewee’s attitude toward the US Healthcare System and your response/thoughts to your interviewee’s attitude and responses.
