I am creating a poster about a current point of argument in the pre hospital world in regards to “needle decompression vs Finger Thoracostomies” for trauma patients. As to why finger thoracostomies are better than needle decompression for Paramedics treating trauma patients in the field. This is a standalone, individual poster. Referencing is required. Need to look into a balanced argument in relation to the two procedures including current guidelines and evidence along with any conflicting information on both as well. This should create a balanced evidenced base approach to both and allow for a more compelling argument. Both civilian and military evidence can be used and with a focus of pre hospital care. If possible add a little something about training requirements and or professional issues around these two procedures. “I have uploaded an idea of what i was looking for help with its the literature search and evidence i have issues with doing, and ranking it in order of research and evidence based practice value. ( this is just something i found on google FYI ) Word count will still need to be around 1100 “In terms of evidence for this i believe the best way to approach this would be by using a CAT critically appraised topic, this being “which is better? needle decompression or Finger thoracotomies?” since this will be a pre hospital research poster i believe there is enough evidence out there in order to get a good mix of pros and cons in order to present a balanced argument from these different perspectives. Evidence based argument is key here as is present the argument. In terms of graphs and charts feel free to add them and the APA references for them. i don’t have a marking criteria as this is a bit of a personal project that i need some help with, however there needs to be a clear understanding of the complexity of issues over these two procedures and the need for a evidence based approach in resolving them. The position adopted is argued, evidenced and imaginative taking into consideration a comprehensive range of perspectives. and the layout and presentation of the poster makes sense?
