Please see attached for guidelines and instructions on presentation. 1. Poster presentation. Each student is to design and develop a poster and to provide a 5-minute presentation it to his or her group. Students can use any video program they choose, one of the more popular is Loom, https://www.loom.com/ . This is a free. There are instructions/guidelines on how to put together a poster like this using PowerPoint. (Form attached)
2. Each poster will include the following headers:
a. Topic name: a clear succinct descriiption of the topic.
b. Identify a leadership or nursing theory that fits with your topic. (Such as if you are looking at the issues related to PPE and equipment shortages during the pandemic you may identify with Theory of Bureaucratic Caring in Nursing from Dr. M. Ray. On the other hand, if you are investigating some of the COVID data that exposes some stark health disparities you may feel Dr. Leininger’s Transcultural Nursing may be a good choice. If you are focusing on leadership aspects such as an analysis of managing healthcare during a crisis, a specific leadership theory would guide your work.)
c. Assess organization cultural influences that impact this topic or how the topic may impact the organizational culture
d. Identify strengths and opportunities for communication strategies. How communication is achieved, how is conflict resolved, and assess the variable of teamwork. e. Outline/identify financial or regulatory issues.
f. What is the impact on quality? How is it measured?
g. Summary statement to include suggestions for improvement.
h. List of references- (references may be provided in a separate word document)
