In lee county the uninsured is 31.32% with statewide being at 8.70% and Teen birth rates (per 1000 pop) is 101.40% and statewide is 43.5
one physical and mental health issue (for example, diabetes and depression)
obseity rate is lee county is at 28.1% and state at 28.7% and depression rates are 17.4% and 19.3 statewide.

What is needed is education and leadership advocates to help educat and teach the importance of health and education. What ive learned is everyone doesnt have the same opportunities as everyone else, but having certain programs in place to help makes a big difference, and in my county they have definitely stepped up and make a differnece in helping Latinos become great.
