OVERVIEW:
This assignment will include an overview of the theoretical
framework/conceptual model, definition of the framework’s major concepts, application of framework/conceptual model to the DNP
project, discuss the significance of the DNP project, and define the project concepts to measure, implementing educational and behavioral modification.
THE PROJECT HAS ALREADY BEEN STARTED, this is simply the continuation. The research proposal is Improving Medication Adherence in Hypertensive Patients.
Problem Statement: Treatment and medication non-adherence is a serious problem in the primary care practice particularly in patients with hypertension.
Pico Question: Would educational and behavioral interventions be effective in improving compliance in patients with medication and treatment non-adherence? PICO components or in this case PIO: P = Adult population age 40 +. I = educational and behavioral modifications such as pamphlets distributed to patients in the practice, followup Blood pressure readings. O= will patients have improved blood pressure readings after interventions.

and cohesive argument as to why their choice of project is a current clinical problem/issue.

you, me, our may is not used. In addition, describing yourself as the researcher or the author should not be used.
6. Include a minimum of 5 (additional to Assignment 1 references) professional peer-reviewed scholarly journal references to
support the paper (review in Ulrich Periodical Directory) and be less than five (5) years old.
7. APA format is required (attention to spelling/grammar, references, and in-text citations).
