nitial Discussion Question/Prompt Due Wednesday by 11:59 pm
Instructions:
Please evaluate the subjective and objective information provided to you in the file below.
The first part of the discussion board is to identify all pertinent positive and negative information.
Then create a differential diagnosis list with at least 3 possibly actual diagnosis based on your findings.
Second part is to create a plan utilizing clinical practice guidelines for the priority diagnosis.
Be sure to include APA in-text citations and provide full reference citation at the end of the discussion.

Pertinent positive and negative information.
Positive information
The young woman has an allergy to penicillin, a background of asthma and chickenpox, and also suffered from a urinary tract infection when she was 15. Her maternal grandpa suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away. Her grandmother from the maternal side suffers from hypertension and diabetes, while her father has diabetes. Her mother passed away from diabetes, lung cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Her paternal grandpa suffered epileptic convulsions brought on by PMH while the grandmother passed away from breast cancer. She did not have the routine influenza vaccinations; she has seen some gland inflammation, has positive CVA, and suprapubic discomfort.
Negative information
The patient does not engage in substance abuse or sexual activity. Her physical and systems evaluation findings on RS, HEENT, MS CVS, PV, endocrine, neurological and psychiatric assessment were normal, with typical vital signs as well.
Any other information you would want to obtain?
The other information about the patient I may have gotten isâ¯whether or not she does vaginal sluicing, how she cleans herself after urinating and after having bowel movements, what kind of diet she follows, and whether or not she has experienced vaginal secretions.
Diagnosis based on the findings
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection that may occur in any portion of the urinary system, and it is prevalent (Gupta et al., 2017). This was thought to be the most crucial diagnosis since the patients complained of feeling rushed, a burning sensation when urinating, feeling that their bladder was not emptied, and having cramps in their abdominal area.
Cystitis is an infection that occurs due to bladder inflammation, which is almost often brought on by bacteria and leads to bladder irritation (Kolman, 2019). It was taken into consideration because the patient`s current symptoms reported lower abdomen aches and inadequate bladder evacuation.
Urethritis is a disorder that causes inflammation of the urethra, which then makes it irritable (Hakenberg et al., 2017). Because the patient complained of a burning sensation during urination, this possibility was considered.
A plan utilizing clinical practice guidelines for the priority diagnosis.
The goal of the treatment for such a patient would be to reduce both their level of pain and their level of discomfort. An oral analgesic will just be administered to the patient to accomplish this goal. The patient may also benefit from warm compaction applied to the lower abdomen region. In addition, she must boost the number of fluids she consumes and pee often. She will also be instructed on how to thoroughly wipe herself from the front to the back, how important it is to thoroughly wash her underpants and let them dry in the sunlight, and how important it is to complete the course of antibiotics recommended to her.
