With the many patients suffering from being unable to control and manage their blood pressure effectively, remote monitoring as an intervention comes in to assist in bridging this gap. The project’s primary goal is medical management of blood pressure through remote monitoring of the patients. Home-based blood pressure monitoring is a self-management tool that can help patients monitor and control their blood pressure rates. The project will involve qualitative and quantitative analysis in data collection in analyzing the impact of remote monitoring in patients with hypertension. The quantitative analysis will involve questionnaires and direct interviews on patients with hypertension in the facility. PICO: As you develop your clinical questions, remember that we are translating evidence into practice. We should not be posing research type questions. For example, comparing one drug to another or one device to another is more of a research type question.
