Hi, India. I agree with you on your points that are call setting and student’s age. The teacher should verify the parent’s phone number which is same as the record and discuss in secured setting. The teacher should discuss the student’s performance in the classroom or the office without any others in the same room. If the student is under 18, the parents are the natural party. If the student is over 18, the teacher should get the student’s authorization first.
