In this assignment you will design six (6) learning management plans to meet the needs of three (3) different students, each of whom has a different inclusive need. You may incorporate tools, such as technology, to help meet the needs of the students in your selected cases.
Student A: 18 month old with a vision disability
Student B: Four year old who is unable to speak and uses a tablet to communicate
Student C: Two year old with a physical disability and cannot walk without supports
Using a question and answer format with complete sentences-
For each child above, identify and describe two (2) challenges which may come up during a typical day in the classroom.
For each child, answer the following questions for each of the child’s challenges:
1. What are the steps (plans) you will need to take to support this child’s learning and development daily due to their disability? Include the specific steps, strategies, or accommodations you will use. For example, if the child cannot self-feed, how will you meet this need?
2. How does this align to DAP and the needs of this individual?
3. How does this align with the management plan for the rest of the children in that age group? For example, if the child is not able to self-feed, how will the needs of other’s in the classroom be met if you are feeding the child?
EXAMPLE FORMAT:
Child A: 18 month old with a vision disability
Challenge 1:
Identify and describe the challenges this child faces daily due to their disability.
What are the steps (plans) you will need to take to support this child’s learning and development daily due to their disability?
How does this align to DAP and the needs of this individual?
How does this align with the management plan for the rest of the children in that age group or classroom?
Challenge 2:  repeat above questions with answers for challenge 2
Repeat above format with Child B and Child C
