After you reflect on this week’s readings and begin part two of your project, let’s discuss what we have learned as a class. We will start our discussions with your opinion/experience in assessing end-user requirements.
What is/was the most difficult component of obtaining non-functional and functional requirements based on this experience or past experiences?
Review your project topic with your peers and articulate the “how” (non-functional) and “what” (functional) of your proposed system. How do you differentiate between the non-functional and the functional? Was this difficult to do?
Articulate what might happen if you, the database designer, do not consider the end users’ requirements as you design your database.
