I need to submit a proposal justification for a overhire . There are 7 total FTE on dayshift. Three employees currently have have FMLA intermittent approval with 2 employees awaiting approval. This will significantly impact laboratory operations. Staff do use their FMLA intermittently on a consistently as you can see on the chart attached. I have also listed a graph of specimens received per hour, per day to show a snippet of the incoming specimen volume. Using the information attached, can you please write a one page proposal on why an overhire is necessary to maintain dayshift operations considering the the total fmla cases.
