I need a top notch written personal statement that will stand out above the rest. It is for Rutgers Medical School. I have not taken the MCAT yet, and standardized tests have not been my strong suit, however, I have business degree, an unofficial biology degree, and I am completing a master’s in biomedical sciences all in the hopes of bolstering my application. I attached some guidelines about the personal statement. Also attached is a personal statment I used to get into the master’s program. I don’t care if the essay is embelished. I am not a typical medical student simply because of my age and work experience. I currently have paid for all my schooling on my own the old fashion way by working and have not receieve any help which is why I could not apply to medical school sooner. A little about me that might help with the personal statement: -Worked 3 jobs and 6 days a week 5 years two jobs were bartending and one was an office during the day – Overall GPA is about 3.3 and Science GPA is 3.5 and Master’s Program GPA is 3.5 to 3.6 – Always loved science – Owned a business for 7 years – Elected at age 26 to be Chairman of Franchise Adivsory committee for a major franchise corporation
