I am applying for a Ph.D. program and have to write a statement of purpose for entry. I will include my resume so you can have my information to help write it. Here are the criteria for the article:

Share your intellectual trajectory, how you came to the decision to further your education, and what made you decide to pursue a Ph.D. in Nursing – Nursing Education concentration at Liberty University.
Share research interests, why you enjoy doing research, and provide an example(s) that displays your intellectual curiosity in action.
In your narrative, highlight any relevant experience and skills you have. Be sure to point out any research experience in your paragraph.

Here is some information about me to help assist…
Interests: I love teaching students clinically and didactically. I build a rapport with them easily and we learn from one another.
Recent research: Blood culture contamination (had to work on this at my job due to the increasing number of contaminations we have). I had to research the proper technique and find appropriate vendors to provide adequate equipment to get our numbers down below 2%. This project is in the implementation phase currently.
Skills: Clinical and didactic instructor for an accelerated nursing program, Epic Principal Trainer (trains new grads and nurses on proper documentation, I help develop curricula and computer-based learning for this), and I am an Assistant Nurse Manager, and interim education coordinator while we fill that role, in a busy Emergency Department of a teaching facility.
