This should highlight the risks of a hot desking, how the environment can be assessed and the control measures necessary to ensure the health of employees. As part of this summary report you need to identify the following headlines: • Potential health risks to employees within an office based environment and how these are affected by the increased move to hot desking. • Any other potential risks associated with DSE eg use of different software across the organisation. • How does the increased move to hot desking impact the effectiveness of control measures? • What are the key challenges in achieving effective control of the identified risks and how is continued effectiveness assured? • What current systems ensure that a safe and healthy place of work for these employees is provided and/or what are the next steps required?
