Follow an area in development (Down syndrome) from prenatal to old age (womb to tomb). You can choose any topic of interest- personality, intelligence, a disorder etc. In your paper, consider the following: 1. The relative impact of nature and nurture 2. How does it change over the lifespan- prenatal, infancy, toddler, early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence, early,middle, late adulthood? 3. Are changes gradually or abrupt. Can something dramatically alter the course for the better or worse? 4. How predictive are early behaviors on later behaviors- eg.
