first person:One of the strategies i chose was making home visits. I think homevisits are crucial in understanding the family dynamic.  The family is more relaxed and open. You can watch the child in their natural learning environment so you can incorporate that in the clasroom. You can get a better feel of what is important to them without actually verbalizing it. Showing them that you actually care about the family as whole and creating a plan that better fits them as a whole. Even having literature incorporated in the classroom to show their unique family dynamic to show them they are understood and welcomed.
second person:
The strategy would be to make my daycare more inviting for my parents. I feel that a part of the center a special conference room and parent library can strengthen parent involvement. Children enjoy parents coming into their classrooms to interact with them. in the conference room and library, parents can get information and resources on different subjects. Teachers will have a list of children and parent workshops where the parent would sign up to read a book, cooking class, or volunteer time in their child’s class. In this room  I will set up tables for parent meetings or just sitting reading all the information in the library.
