Think back to a previous group project you have been a part of and answer each of the
following questions (worth 15 points of your project grade):
1. Motivation:
a. What are some differences/similarities between team members on their motivation
for the group project?
b. How might these differences/similarities have affected your ability to work together
as a team?
c. If you had motivation differences, how did you bridge those differences? If you didn’t
effectively bridge the differences, what would you do differently next time?
2. Communication:
a. What are your favorite modes of communication?
b. What are some differences you have noticed in terms of preferred modes of
communication and/or how quickly you responded to each other?
3. Collaboration/Conflict resolution:
a. How did you work together on this project? (Google Docs? other?)
b. How did you provide suggestions on each others’ work? If you didn’t, why not?
c. If you had a disagreement/conflict, how did you handle the situation?
d. What rules will you consider for future group projects so that your team standards
and expectations are met?
e. Consult the team functioning roles on the previous page. What were you responsible
for? What about others? How might this concept help you in the future?
4. Accountability:
