Expanded literature review – 20-25 pages with APA Style in-text source citations and bibliography.
Summarize and critique the empirical (experimental) peer-reviewed journal studies you found on your topic.
Build off of your research presentation topic further summarizing, critiquing the strengths and weaknesses of the empirical research on your topic on sample size, sample representativeness, sample selection, presence or absence of control groups, research design, and generalizability of results, etc. Also please be sure to pay attention to particular confounds in the studies and gaps you find in the literature. You can highlight the important consistencies (or inconsistencies) in the studies you reviewed, and make recommendations for future studies in the conclusion. It will be important for you to be able to identify, analyze, and evaluate arguments in the work your review and in the points you make and show the reasoning behind the arguments.
Rough publish due 2/25. Final publish due 3/07.
