On this module I have been able to Evaluate the principles underpinning the management of commonly used approaches/ modalities in patients with cardiovascular failures such as Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest, Hyperkalaemia, Arrhythmias etc. Implement and evaluate evidence based approach to managing patients with cardiovascular problems from the student’s own professional basis and from an inter-professional basis. Evaluate the benefits and risks of approaches taken to managing patients with multi-system failure within critical care. Critically review common approaches in clinical monitoring and measurement and be able to reflect on their usefulness in evaluating on going care. Evaluate areas of controversy.
