2 to 3 minute written speech from a CRNA/ nurse anesthetist/ nurse anesthesiologist (author) to a legislator (audience) explaining the following:
-What are CRNAs and what do they do?
-Similarities and differences of competition i.e. physician anesthesiologists
-overall objective: to educate a legislator on what a CRNA does and to expand CRNA practice & full autonomy by abolishing anesthesia care team (ACT) models dictated by physicians in all 50 states. In return, installing a better anesthesia model, the collaborative autonomous team model where both professions can truly practice at their max potential.
