This is the first part of the proposal (the background) I must address these points:
• You need to be more precise and concise about the key issues for your study.
Which is,
• Youth suicide rates in Saudi Arabia (You can find the numbers in the files I will attach), inpatient youth suicide attempts in SA
• The role of the mental health nurse in Saudi Arabia. While you can start your background discussion broadly, you must then focus on the key areas of your study.
• You need to show that youth suicide rates are increasing, or that there is anecdotal evidence of it.
• You must demonstrate an understanding of the issues, what the evidence tells us about it, what we don’t know, (gap) why it is a problem – that then provides the rationale for your study.
• The last part of the background you have to mention the methodology
• Phase 1 – Integrated review & Phase 2. Qualitative Interviews. This is the approach I want to take.
• Methodology must link back to the objectives and how you are attempting to answer the research question (PICO)
• I will attach the previous background; please rewrite it and you can get the ideas and some the references from it.
