Create a 7- to 10-slide presentation in which you will:

1- Create 2 SMART objectives for your selected QI initiative(10 points)–see example of SMART obj in CONVERSATIONS ROOM*follow that model*
2- Analyze 2 issues / concerns you have about your chosen topic and why you feel a change is necessary & can improve Pt Satisfaction Survey scores (10)
3- Choose one CHANGE Model / Theory from the following 5 models:
(a) Lewin; (b) Burrows & Needs; (c) Hinshaw; (d) Bennis, Benne, & Chin; or (e) Olson & Eoyang (all are described in this week’s Ch 8 textbook readings).
Describe the Change Theory and state how it will be helpful in creating your plan to implement the needed Change (15)
4- State exactly what you will (try to or have) put in place (the “Change” ) to address & improve on the Pt Satisfaction item on which you are focusing (20).
Be specific–who have you discussed this with at work ? ( or will be discussing), whose support you would need in order to succeed? Who else can/will help in this effort?
Locate article/s in nursing journal that shares how others have addressed the topic you have chosen. What have they put in place to assure improvement in pt perceptions/ outcomes? Add this info to this discussion. Use our Library.
5- Discuss a Leadership Communication Strategy to inspire leadership and staff in order to gain their support for the Change you are making —see Wk 3 Learning Activities, Ch 19 in Marquis & Huston textbook—must utilize textbook for this information and cite accordingly (10)
A CONCLUSION completes all presentations and papers(5).
In all assignments, you are focused on being the leader in the organization.
