Class, this week we are discussing descriiptive epidemiology, specifically the elements of person, place, and time. This week, let’s explore those elements for NON-disease based PH issues. Examples (not an exclusive list) of non-disease-based PH issues include human trafficking, air pollution, falls, social anxiety, car accidents, mass shootings, injuries, accidents, racism, poverty, misinformation, etc. Provide a short overview of the issue – (i.e. 1-2 sentences) and then, in bullet points, provide the person, place, and time elements of the issue.
