Choose any character to analyze from a book or movie. Your character should be someone you dislike and one with whom you would find it difficult to empathize. In a two- to three-page, double-spaced, APA-formatted paper, discuss the following items: Describe the character. Explain why you dislike him or her as well as why you would find it difficult to empathize with this character. Assume that you were the only person available to help this character through a personal crisis. Come up with a strategy as to how you could think of this person in a different way in order to be able to empathize with him or her. Describe your strategy in your paper. Discuss other resources that you may need to use in order to provide the character with good, empathetic care. How might your ability to empathize encourage change in this character?
