TOPIC: Challenges in adoption and fostering of children by LGBT parents in the United States.
Hypothesis: “Compared to married heterosexual couples, married homosexual couples will be viewed as less competent parents.”
A research proposal should explain what you plan to research, why it’s worth researching, and how you plan to investigate it.
You may submit this assignment at any time prior to May 5th for up to 30 points extra credit. It should be at least 3 pages of content (not including title page, abstract or references) and in APA style.
The research proposal should 1) briefly review the existing literature and introduce key terms, 2) identify a problem, 3) identify the purpose of the study, 4) present hypotheses, 5) provide detailed methodology of the proposed study, and 6) propose statistical analyses. This should integrate what you have learned in both Research Methods and this course. Please see the rubric for specifics.
