Cardiovascular health is a very broad topic and encompasses many disease states and MANY medications. In order to best cover the different cardiovascular problems that we will encounter and medications that we will use, we will again work in groups.
Upon successful completion of the course material, you will be able to:
Identify common cardiovascular problems
Create a care plan using pharmacological and nonpharmacological agents to care for common cardiovascular problems, including: hypertension, hyperlipidemia, angina atrial fibrillation and heart failure.
Appropriately prescribe and monitor common cardiovascular medications.

Suggested treatment guidelines/recommendations for this workshop
Instructions
1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
2. There are four case studies outlined. Provide a SOAP evaluation for the Cardiovascular Case Study listed for your Group.
3. Group One should address the case study labeled “Group One” and so on. Each group member will receive the same grade for quality and timeliness since this is a group assignment. Interaction grades will be based upon each individual’s participation in the group and class discussion portion of the assignment and follow-up post to another group’s post.
4. Follow the procedures discussed in Workshop One to assess the case, using the questions that follow each case as an added guide. A group forum has been created in Communications-Groups to allow for discussion and collaboration prior to your final post in the class forum.
5. When you have completed your assignment, post the case in the class discussion forum no later than the end of day five of this workshop.
*6. Post a follow-up post no later than the end of day seven of the workshop.
