Before reading the points, please be ware that this LOR must be the best to convince that I was the ideal student during this OBGYN rotation and that the residency program I am sending this letter too, should see that and select me as a medical student.
1-write in the letter on behalf of my OBGYN preceptor here in Los Angeles, California and how his experience was with having me as a student.
2-mention that I should be the best student for their medical residency program. You have never found someone so intelligent and with a big drive to take care of pregnant mothers.
3-I was an exceptional student who demonstrated a big and fantastic interest for OBGYN, specifically for maternal and child’s health.
4-I was always punctual, making calls consistently and always ready to come to private practice. I worked with other team members such as anesthesiologists, nurses and got familiar with their tasks as well. Always motivated, ready to do vaginal and c-section births. I helped during surgical procedures such as sutures. I followed mothers during the antepartum period until intrapartum and postpartum making sure mothers and babies were healthy.
5-I also published a research article on maternal Crohn’s disease and how an active flare of bleeding leading to IDA could potentially lead to ADHD in their offspring. This helped me take a more careful look into mothers total blood count was normal and prevent any deficiency.
6-please mention in nice wording how smart and great I am to work with, with a positive and pleasant attitude.
