For this Discussion you will:
Create a Survey using REDCap. See instructions on how to do this below. (Please make sure that it is written for your peers- graduate nursing students of diverse focus’- not a subset population eg. Diabetics, Children, Prisoners, OBGYN NPs etc.)
Your survey will be unique based on your area of interest but should be designed for your Graduate Nursing Student Peers. You will be taking a Convenient Sampling of your peer’s opinions, experiences, and thoughts. When creating survey questions, you need to ask yourself “What is the purpose of my study?” and “What do I want to look for?” If you are interested in Weight Loss and want to create a survey to reflect that you need to determine what you are trying to discover. Are you looking to see if there is a Gap in Knowledge in how to properly care for Obese pts? Are you wanting to understand the reasons why so many healthcare providers maintain an unhealthy lifestyle? Is your goal to determine if your classmates give up in providing alternative resources beyond diet for weight loss to those struggling with their weight?
