3. Take Notes and Collect Data from video observations and/or in-person observations.  Use the
questions in the Report Outlines below as guides for taking notes while observing. Collect specific
examples of teacher and student behaviors to use in your reports.   
4. Write four separate reports.  (See due dates posted in Canvas.)  Each report must earn a minimum
grade of 70% in order to pass the course.  NOTE:  Do not use your EDUC 1301 report for this class.  This
would be self-plagiarism and treated as academic dishonesty. 
 Field Report I (40 points possible; must earn at least 28 points to pass)
 Field Report II (30 points possible; must earn at least 21 points to pass)
 Field Report III (30 points possible; must earn at least 21 points to pass)
 Field Report IV (30 points possible; must earn at least 21 points to pass)
NOTE:  The fourth report will not be graded until the completed Time Log, signed and verifying
16 hours, is submitted.
5. Write each report in APA Style 7th edition for student papers.  Use formal, academic language, in
essay format.  Use the APA resources and guidelines handout provided by your professor. Each paper
should be 2-3 pages, not including title and reference pages.

Field Experience Report III: Facilitation of Instruction
Answer all questions. For each answer, include at least one specific, detailed example/observation.  Cite any
videos or textbook information you use for this part of the paper, using in-text citations.
A. Describe at least one instructional modification you observed.
B. Describe the teacher’s classroom management skills including the class rules, daily routines,   
procedures, and management of student behavior.
C. How does the classroom arrangement/environment facilitate instruction for students with exceptional
needs (furniture, equipment, technology, etc.)?
D. Describe at least one modification you could make that would further facilitate instruction.
