The assignment is about how the ethical decision-making model can be used to resolve ethical issues involved with nursing care. Present the information defined in the steps provided in the Park Model summary provided in the attachment. This assignment reinforces the importance of ethical decision-making in nursing. You will apply an ethical decision making model from this week’s readings to an ethical issue. Headings may be used that match the steps in the Park Model. 1. Apply the PARK ethical decision-making model to the subject selected. Follow the steps provided in the model. (Use the Park Model Adapted to help guide your comments. Do not just answer the questions. Analysis is expected.) 2. Collect and analyze additional information that describes cultural issues and stakeholder perspectives. Include pertinent physical and cultural assessment data. 3. Develop alternatives for decision-making and compare them. Then select the alternative to assist in making the decision.
