In the chapter this week, we have been discussing consciousness, including altered states of consciousness. The chapter concluded with a section about drugs. Dr. Andelin provided a link to a TED talk starring Johann Hari as well as a link to a graphic novel that tells the story of the experiment known as Rat Park. For the discussion this week, I want you to reflect on the findings described by each of these sources. Since you will not be responding to your fellow classmates, I want this post to instead be a reflection that is a minimum of 2 paragraphs in length (a paragraph typically has 5 or more sentences), and addressing at least one specific example from each source in the reflection that you write.
