Directions
Take one day and give three compliments. One to your significant other (or best friend), one to someone else that you know and the third one to a stranger. Do this everyday. Note: These compliments must be genuine.
After doing this report on the following: Was this an easy or difficult task for you? Why? Did it affect your relationship with your significant other (best friend)? How? Be specific. What was it like to compliment a stranger? How did the stranger receive the compliment? What happened with “someone else that you know?” Did you discern any change in the recipient’s stress level? How did this compliment assignment affect your stress level? Your assignment shouluvld be a well thought-out one-page paper.
