i) Identify (your choice) an important environmental public health issue and a county in N.C. (it can be a hypothetical EH problem).  Get up to speed on this topic by reviewing the published literature and synthesizing the findings (some questions to ask yourself, what is the background?  What is known and what is not known?).  Review the examples and guidelines provided in the Course Documents folder for more direction

Use APA style format throughout (provided) to develop concise and accurate responses to develop a 5-page (not including references),12-point font, single-spaced MS Word document uploaded to Canvas. Cite at least 5 references. Cut and paste from reference material, journal articles, etc., will not be accepted and may be considered plagiarism.  Diagrams and figures are encouraged. However, should not take up more than ¼ of your page size and do not count towards the 5-page limit. Neatness and grammar counts. Points deducted for incomplete or incomprehensible sentences and/or poor grammar.
