Discussion Prompt
The purpose of this discussion is to debate the role of empathy in teams. Below are two videos from well-known academics (Brené Brown and Paul Bloom) who have simplified their messages on empathy into brief videos. One makes the case for empathy and one makes a case for the risks of empathy.

Respond to the next few questions:
Which message on empathy do you think is right? More importantly, what is the role of empathy in groups? What makes you say so?
Review the readings and lecture videos provided in this module.
Provide a relevant and in-depth response to the above prompt by replying in the discussion forum below. Write no more than 200 words in length.
Provide substantive comments on at least two postings from your community members. Your response postings should be at least 50 words and no more than 100 words each.
