Research-based Writing: students will learn to follow the logical progression of research-based composition that emphasizes writing as a process.
Rubric:
-Purpose of the paper is clear.
-Well-planned and well-thought-out. Includes title, introduction, statement of main idea, transitions, and conclusion.
-Sources are exceptionally well-integrated and they support claims argued in the paper very effectively.
-Excellent grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation.
-Paper is at least 3 pages in length, not to include the title page and reference page.
-At least 5 references are used, listed in APA format and none of them are older than 5 years old.
