This is a research paper for a PSY 491 Experimental Research class. The topic I chose is to conduct a correlational study based on social media use over the past week, loneliness, and personality (both the extraversion/introversion subscale and the Openness subscale). I need 5 pages of an introduction using literature review, of good academic journals from databases that are centralized around psychology including Psyc Info, Quest, etc. (Skip the part of the hypotheses and introducing the current study). I also need 2 pages of a discussion section for this paper that can elaborate on the findings of the introduction that you wrote about (ofcourse skipping the section that talks about the current findings/results of the study because you wouldn’t be able to answers that). In terms of elaborating, talk about why it’s important to take the research into consideration, what future directions. Also, COVID-19 is a perfect topic to include in the research as it is linked to social media and there must be research that helps support some findings.
-The last page should include all the references used in the paper and should be labeled empirical or review article in parentheses.
