Objective:
Describe how a client responded to a specific chronic illness diagnosis( My Chronic Illness is Adrenal Insufficiency and Hypercortisolism (Cushing syndrome) initially and how this changed over time. Discuss whether the response was positive and how the client adapted. Respond to two other posts of classmates with specific information, suggestions, or insight.
Include in the post the following:
1. Limit to one paragraph.
2. List the diagnosis and provide a link to the blog.
3. Discuss how the client initially felt when learning the diagnosis.
4. Discuss how the client adapted over time and how he/she/family is now coping. Include how they have adapted and identify any coping mechanisms that are apparent.
5. Respond to two other classmates’ blogs. In a brief response give specific information, suggestions for better coping/care, or any further insight you have and would offer if you were caring for this client. Post should have reference (s) cited that are from a peer reviewed evidence-based practice journal (no websites).
