Intervention/ Indication
CAGE questionnaire as intervention on routine visits of patients who meet this criteria over 3 months.
Comparison/Control
No CAGE questionnaire on initial visit and each appointment
Outcome
Increase alcohol consumption screening by 50%.

In Adult type II diabetic African-American males with A1C greater than 7 who drink alcohol in an out-patient clinical setting (P), what is the impact of CAGE screening for alcoholism (I), verses no CAGE screening (C) to reduce diabetes (O) increase alcohol consumption screening by over 50% over 3 months.
