The summary will include: 1) an overall summary of the article, 2) detailed description the

research methods used to examine the phenomenon of interest 3) detailed description of the results presented,

4) how the information in the article relates to the experiment you participated in (see below), and 5) a
<
meaningful extension of the knowledge gained from the article to topics covered in lecture or to your own
<
personal life. The final portion of this summary is not to be taken lightly, read the articles in advance of the
<
deadline and allow yourself to develop a meaningful extension from the article to your relevant experience.

Each summary is worth 25 points. Summaries must be 1.5 pages (single-spaced) in length at a minimum and
<
will be graded on completeness and demonstration of understanding for both concepts and your own
<
experience. Points will be taken off for summaries that are not the required page length and if sections
<
listed above are omitted.
