Building on Week 2’s discussion, the second assignment for this class is a short formal paper two-three double-spaced pages (500-750 words) not including title page or references, due at the end of Week 3 that includes the following information.
THE PAPER
Should include:
A project topic – Using the topic you previously identified or a new topic that you are interested in, give the background of the topic and why this would be a nursing/health improvement opportunity in your agency or discipline
PICO question – based on your topic and population of interest.
Key Search Terms – based on your topic and PICO question, and after looking at Huie Library Data Bases (ProQuest Central, CINAHL, Ovid, etc.) select what you expect will be your Key Search Terms. Explain why you selected these and briefly what you anticipate will be your next step in the research process.
