You will complete a 7- to 10-slide PowerPoint® presentation that explains what are considered professional and unprofessional attire and behaviors for your chosen career. The presentation will also include information regarding best practices for other factors related to physical appearance and behaviors (hairstyles, tattoos, accessories, jewelry, piercings, communication, attitude, etc.). The presentation will demonstrate the importance of managing your professional image for career success. It will cover specific practices regarded as essential for professionals in your career.
The PowerPoint presentation must include:

Criteria 1
Describes professional and unprofessional attire for student’s chosen profession with two examples each that include the following: images depicting professional and unprofessional attire and reasoning as to the importance of managing a professional image.
Criteria 2
Describes professional and unprofessional behavior for student’s chosen profession with two examples each that include the following: images depicting professional and unprofessional behavior and reasoning as to the importance of managing a professional image.
Criteria 3
Describes two examples of best practices for other factors (tattoos, jewelry, etc.) for a student’s chosen profession and includes images depicting two best practices and reasoning as to the importance of the best practices.
Criteria 4
Applies APA style to in-text citations and references with minor to no errors
Resources are from reliable and/or scholarly sources.
Properly cites images with minor to no errors.
Criteria 5
Writing is focused, concise and organized
Articulates at a college level with sentence variety and complexity
Few or no grammar or punctuation errors
Prepares speaker notes of 50-100 words for each of the 7-10 content slide’s speaker notes
