For your Change Management Analysis, you will analyze, evaluate, and build upon three change initiatives implemented in rural Southern communities. As you read this study, consider what youâve learned about leading through change in this course. Then, write a 1,800-2,000-word analysis that compares the three interventionsâthe Walking Trail Program, the Eat for Life Program, and the Witness Projectâand covers the areas listed below. In each section, be sure to explain your reasoning utilizing concrete examples from what you have learned during the course.
The entirety of the questions are listed below:
Leadership models:What kinds of leadership models would be best to guide a change in each of the interventions? Why?
Would different interventions require different leadership styles? Why or why not? (For reference, revisit Modules 1-5).
Identifying opportunities:How did the program leadership identify opportunities for actionable change? Were these strategies effective? Why or why not?
How might each team have used meta-ethnography or PAS to identify additional areas for change? (For reference, revisit Module 15 â 20, 24).
Engaging partners:What was the role of partners in each program, and how did the project teams engage these partners in the change process?
What improvements, if any, could the teams make to engage partners more thoroughly?
What recommendations would you have for engaging partners in the continuation of each program? (For reference, revisit Module 6 – 9).
Gaining support:To what extent did the leadership gain widespread support for making changes? How did they attempt to gain support?
What could they have done to increase support?
How might the teams continue to engage various stakeholdersâ support in continuing the programs? (For reference, revisit Module 10).
Overcoming barriers:What kinds of barriers did leadership in each program have to overcome? How did they address these barriers?
Were there some barriers that could have been better addressed? (For reference, revisit Module 11 and 14).
Leading through ambiguity:What were the moments of ambiguity in each program, and how did the teams handle them? Were they successful?
How could the teams have addressed the ambiguity in their programs more effectively? (For reference, revisit Module 22).
