Psychology review of NPR podcast Hidden Brain Episode
Now that you have spent almost an entire semester learning about research methods, I want you
to pay attention to how research is presented to the public (that is, people who are non-experts in
the field).
We have discussed the importance of presenting accurate information in a way that is
understandable to the public, so for this assignment, you’ll be either listening to an episode of the
NPR podcast Hidden Brain or watching an episode of The Mind Explained on Netflix and
answering some questions about it. (Podcast episodes have been uploaded to Moodle and are
available for you to download; the Netflix episodes require access to a Netflix account.)
Choose just ONE of the podcast OR television episodes that are listed on the following page.
